Summer Camp Spotlight
The Me I See:
Photography camp gets kids
thinking beyond Instagram

Photography Camp

Does your child have an eye for pictures? The Me I See (June 17-21, ages 9 & up), one of more than 30 Summer Arts Camps coming up at Montalvo, will give kids a learn how to use a camera like a pro!

Students will learn how to use different options on their cameras, as well as important photo concepts such as shape, color, and composition. Taught by photographer Asual Aswad, a Bay Area teacher and a former resident with the California Arts Council. (Note: Students will need to bring a digital camera of their own.)

A Note About Arts Splash...

We have had several inquiries about Arts Splash, our Open House & Student Art Festival, which has been held in April for the past 3 years. This year, the event was placed on hiatus as we underwent major renovations to the Great Lawn and other grounds improvements.

We know that this fun and exciting day is much loved by our whole community, so be sure to watch our schedule for spring of 2014, when we plan to bring it back in full force!
