February Camps
offer serious fun

Cooking Up Fun!

If you're a parent, you might already be wondering what you're going to do with your kids during the week of winter break (February 16-20). Well, we've got the answer for you: Winter Camps at Montalvo!

Our education program is offering up two of the most awesome camps you can imagine, available for kids of all ages and taught by professional teaching artists:

Conquering the Seas and Sky
Ages 6-8: 9am-12pm
Ages 9 & up: 1-4pm
Students will explore materials, design, and engineering to construct their own multipurpose vessel that can both float across a moat and glide through the sky. In just a week, campers will design a prototype, test, and create a final machine of their own!

Cooking Up Fun
Ages 6-8: 1-4pm
Ages 9 & up: 9am-12pm
A mix of cooking, crafts, and music make this class a hands-on feast of fun suitable for all ages! Follow recipes, learn about nutrition and hospitality, and make lots of tasty treats to take home.

Camps go on sale to Montalvo members starting Tuesday, December 2, and are expected to fill up. If you want to ensure your child a spot in one of these unique camps, become a member today! Otherwise, camp registration opens up to the general public on Friday, December 5.

Montalvo is a member-supported
non-profit organization
dedicated to the arts.

What is
The Griffin Society?

The Griffin Society

The Griffin Society recognizes those who include Montalvo Arts Center in their estate plans. In so doing, like griffins, our donors become guardians of the future of Montalvo.

As a member of the Griffin Society, you become a part of a select group of individuals who share a common commitment to Montalvo’s artists, education, preservation of its parklands, and the magic of our historic arts center. Planned gifts can offer tax advantages and can generate important income for Montalvo.

We invite you to join the Griffin Society and become a part of Montalvo's future. Your gift will help to ensure that all of our treasures will be enjoyed for generations to come.
