Koz It's Your Last Chance for Tickets
Dave Koz & Larry Graham

ATTENTION: It's your last chance to get tickets to see an awesome jazz/funk show with Dave Koz and Larry Graham next Thursday, August 24 at 7:30pm

Koz has recorded more than a dozen albums and has performed with many great jazz musicians over the years -- including numerous sold-out shows at Montalvo. Graham began as a bass guitarist for Sly and the Family Stone and is credited as the innovator of the "slap-pop" technique, a mainstay of funk music. Put these two together for a show in our beautiful outdoor Garden Theatre on a summer night and it's sure to be an unforgettable evening!

When you get your tickets, be sure to add Dining on the Terrace -- our pre-concert dinner experience on the front veranda of the historic Villa catered by ModernTaste. The menu for this concert includes grilled Knob Creek Bourbon tri-tip, roasted potatoes with asiago & thyme, a green salad with strawberries, seasonal vegetables, and crème brulee for dessert. It's a great way to make a night of it at Montalvo!

Signs of the Times
GoFundMe: Harrison Van Der Walt

Have you ever come to an event at Montalvo and thought, "I wish there were more helpful signs around to guide me..."? Making sure there is sufficient signage on our large property to guide all our guests is actually be a lot more challenging and expensive that you might think!

Thankfully, we've got some help on the way: a young patron named Harrison Van Der Walt is working on his Eagle Scout project, which will involve constructing new specialized sign boards for us to use. They'll be helpful for daily visitors to the park and for event attendees, allowing us to post better information to serve you when you arrive.

Harrison has set up a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the materials to build these signage units. He's currently over halfway to his goal of $700, but he needs your help to get past the finish line! Click the button below to visit the page and chip in. Any amount will make a difference -- even just $5. Extra funds beyond the goal will be donated directly back to Montalvo.
