Go Tell It On the Mountain:
Blind Boys of Alabama
coming in December

The Blind Boys of Alabama

It's not even September yet, but it's time to think about Christmas! Why? Because award-winning gospel group The Blind Boys of Alabama are coming to the intimate Carriage House Theatre on Thursday, December 12, at 7pm with their "Go Tell it on the Mountain" Christmas Show - and we don't want you to miss it!

You won’t find a more uplifting performance to celebrate the holiday season. Five-time Grammy Award winners, NEA Lifetime Achievement Award recipients, and Gospel Hall of Fame inductees, the Blind Boys’ 70-year career defines the power and glory of gospel music.

Tickets can be purchased online by clicking below, or through the Montalvo Box Office at 408-961-5858 10am-4pm Monday-Friday. If you're coming, remember to RSVP on our Facebook page and share the event with your friends!

Final Fridays tomorrow!
Mapping Biointimacy
Don't miss out on our FREE monthly art party, Final Fridays - happening tomorrow evening at 6pm.

This inspiring evening launches a new Art on the Grounds work entitled Mapping Biointimacy, and features a roundtable discussion about failure from a range of luminaries.

Artist duo Owen Driggs will lead an interactive walk around Montalvo's grounds, showcasing Mapping Biointimacy. An Android app has been developed in conjunction with the piece, so you can experience this fascinating project on your mobile phones! After the walk, settle in for the engaging panel discussion.

The night includes a participatory art activity and a chance to quench your grilled cheese craving with a sandwich from the Melts My Heart food truck. Beer and wine will also be for sale. Don't miss out on this chance to mingle with fellow artists and art lovers!

Dog Gone It:
Henry and Mudge will
make adults & kids smile

David Barbera

Join us as we kick off a new season of Family Theatre performances with two shows of Henry and Mudge on Saturday, November 9, at 11am & 1pm!

After moving to a house in the country, young Henry doesn't have any playmates in his new neighborhood! Luckily, he's got Mudge, a great big, 182-pound canine buddy. But when Henry runs away into the cold dark woods to find adventures on his own, Mudge must follow the boy's scent into the forest to find him. Will the two friends be reunited?

Based on the best-selling series of books by Cynthia Rylant, TheatreWorks USA brings this moving tale of a boy and his dog to life in a musical production that will delight all ages! And if you need copies of the books, you're in luck: Hicklebee's will be on site before & after the show selling the Henry and Mudge series as well as other excellent literature for kids.

Purchase tickets to this and other Family Theatre shows by clicking below, or call the Box Office at 408-961-5858 10am-4pm Monday-Friday.
