Don't Miss The Stray Cat Lee Rocker March 9!
The Stray Cat Lee Rocker

Are you ready for some rockabilly fun? Strut your way to Montalvo on Friday, March 9 at 8pm to party with The Stray Cat Lee Rocker in our indoor Carriage House Theatre!

Rocker made his mark standing on, spinning, and rocking out on his giant upright bass in the legendary band The Stray Cats. That Grammy-nominated group, which sold nearly 10 million albums and garnered an astounding 23 gold and platinum certified records, took rockabilly music to the top of the charts. Performing solo, Rocker continues to bring that swinging sound to fans worldwide.

The Orange County Weekly declared that "there has never been a rock & roll bass player more fun to watch in concert than Lee Rocker." Grab your tickets and get ready for a show that's got cat class and cat style!

Three Classes This Coming Week
Three Upcoming Classes!

Hoping to learn something new in the new year? Look no further than Montalvo! We've got three unique classes and workshops for adults coming up in the next week, plus a variety of additional classes throughout the spring.

This Sunday, February 4 from 2-4pm, bring your consciousness into the moment as you see, touch, smell, and listen to the beauty of flowers by learning Mindful Ikebana as Moving Meditation with instructor Yuko Tiernan. Suitable for both new or returning students, this session will focus on leaf sculpture, exploring various ways of manipulating leaves -- including curling, bending, folding, connecting, and knotting. Your $65 registration fee includes a vase and all necessary flower materials.

Join professional clown Linda "Rainbow" Levine this coming Monday, February 5 from 4-6pm for a fun workshop on Puppetry for Everyday People. This playful, interactive, beginner-focused course is designed for educators, therapists, health care workers, parents, or those who just want a creative outlet. Laugh and learn as we bring puppet characters to life! No previous puppetry experience needed, and registration is just $15.

On Wednesday, February 7 from 6-8pm, get moving at our Israeli Folk Dance class, led by instructor Ann Malmuth-Onn -- the first in a series of Dance Classes taking place inside the historic Villa this spring. You will explore Israeli folk dance and song as a window to ancient history and culture. Selected themes will unfold from modern and religious repertoire. Wear comfortable clothing and footwear (dance slippers or bare feet).

This is your last chance to register for these fun and inspiring classes, so don't delay. We hope to see you there!
