"Love Around the Table"
will delight your senses

Andrea Blum: Love Around the Table

Join culinary artist Andrea Blum on Sunday, May 18, at 6:30pm for a delicious dinner inspired by the themes of love and passion for discovery: "Love Around the Table."

The evening will examine cooking as an expression of affection, and meals as communal gatherings celebrating the act of giving. The evening’s menu will include food inspired from her travels, favorite pantry finds, and dishes with stories from the gourmet artisans who share their expertise and passion in edible form. A short hike whets the appetite before guests sit down together.

In addition to sharing a meal, attendees will also be asked to bring something related to the kitchen: a recipe, a story, or even produce from the garden—something that expresses giving as an act of love.

This dinner is presented in conjunction with the exhibition L O V E: Creativity, Connection, Community on view in the Project Space Gallery through June 8.

Alexander is not having a good day

Alexander & the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad DayHave you ever had a really rotten day? Alexander has: He wakes up with gum in his hair, he trips on a skateboard, and then he drops his sweater in the sink - all before breakfast. He can already tell: it's going to be a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!

Laugh and sing along with Alexander's misadventures this Sunday, May 4, at either 11am or 1pm in this hilarious musical based on the best-selling book. Discover along with Alexander that sometimes, our bad days aren't really so bad after all.

Tickets are still available to both performances; our friends from Hicklebee's will be at the show selling this and other great books to extend your child's literary inspiration!
