“I recommend these incredible artists and educators to any music program!” Amy Cowan, Sea Crest School, Half Moon Bay

The Tree and the Donkey who loved to sing (AKA el Abuelo) is a bilingual, participatory story exploding with the song, ancient musical instruments, and sweet characters of Mexican music and dance.  The story weaves in information about Mexican diversity (particularly indigenous, Spanish, and African roots), explores these cultures through improvisation, and examines life and death in nature through a lively performance in which children and their families are invited to sing and play with beautiful traditional songs and dances.
