Refreshing, complex, surprising, aromatic—cocktails can be many things, but they should always be delicious. Learn to make your own tasty cocktails in this hands-on class that showcases both classic and modern takes on favorites. Class begins with an overview of professional bar-tending techniques, and then moves on to demonstrate and sample three cocktails with different alcohol bases: an old fashioned (bourbon), a gin and tonic (with spices for a twist), and a truly exceptional margarita (tequila). Along the way you’ll learn about the interesting history behind these drinks and what elements contribute to their flavor profiles. Class ends with students getting to create their own cocktail by either recreating a demo drink or coming up with their own invention.

NOTE: Must be 21 or older to participate

IMPORTANT: Please Bring Your Own Materials

Participants must bring their own shaker, strainer, and mixing spoon. A bar kit can be purchased through Amazon here, or you can purchase an individual shaker, Hawthorne strainer, and spoons.

All cocktail ingredients will be provided.
